International Return — Live Art Across the World
In 2022, Mitsuhiro Arita resumed an extensive schedule of international appearances following the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. His activities once again combined conventions, live demonstrations, educational events, signing sessions and original sketches. Appearances across Europe and North America demonstrated the growing importance of direct interaction with audiences within his artistic career, while his store tour through the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany introduced a particularly intimate format in which participants could watch Arita create an original sketch directly in front of them.

Timeline Events
Arita resumed international appearances and live art activities during 2022.
On August 20, he performed a live painting demonstration at Vantan Game Academy in Tokyo.
On September 10–11, Arita appeared at Oslo Culture and Art in Norway, an event focused on introducing younger generations to art and creative education.
On September 17–18, he returned to the United States as a guest at Ocala Comic Con in Florida.
On October 1–2, Arita appeared for the first time at TGS Pau in France.
In November, Arita undertook a dedicated European store tour organized with Rotterdam Comics.
The tour took place from November 18 to 22 and included locations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Rather than functioning solely as conventional autograph sessions, the European tour was presented as a series of fan meetings.
Participants could receive an original inspiration sketch created by Arita directly in front of them inside his CINEMATIC sketchbook.
The tour also included an autograph on an item belonging to the participant.
On December 2–4, Arita appeared as a guest at the Toronto Regional Championships in Canada.
By the end of 2022, Arita had re-established an international event schedule spanning Japan, Norway, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Canada.
