Godzilla, Comic Covers & International Art
In 2025, Mitsuhiro Arita continued expanding his career across American comic books, major entertainment properties, original artwork and international events. Godzilla became particularly visible within his work, including published comic-book artwork and special projects presented during international appearances. At the same time, Arita's growing body of comic-book covers established this field as an important new branch of his professional illustration career, alongside his continuing live drawing, original art and convention activities around the world.

Arita's activity in American comic-book illustration continued to expand significantly during 2025.
His published comic-cover portfolio included work for major properties from Marvel, Dark Horse and other publishers.
Arita created a variant cover for Godzilla vs. Avengers #1.
Godzilla became an increasingly important subject within Arita's commercial and event-related artwork during this period.
Arita returned to Hawaii Pop Con on January 11–12, 2025.
During Hawaii Pop Con 2025, Arita performed a live drawing that was scheduled to be auctioned after his return to Japan.
Arita continued producing original drawings and inspiration sketches directly for collectors during selected international appearances.
On September 6–7, Arita appeared at Sneaker Con Los Angeles at the Anaheim Convention Center.
His 2025 activities continued to connect illustration, collectibles, original artwork and international event culture.
Arita appeared at New York Comic Con in October 2025, with activities focused particularly on his growing body of comic-book cover work.
At New York Comic Con, he appeared with Aloha Card Shop and signed retailer-exclusive comic variants.
His New York appearance also offered short original drawings and longer Inspiration Sketch sessions.
On October 25, Arita appeared at the Limited Run 10th Anniversary event in North Carolina.
From October 31 to November 2, Arita returned to Kuala Lumpur for TCGKL 2025.
Alongside commercial commissions, Arita continued developing a professional practice combining published illustration, original art, limited merchandise, live drawing and direct interaction with collectors.
Arita was featured in Illustration magazine, issue No. 248, published in December 2025.
