Independent Path — Illustration & 3DCG

Partially Documented

After university, Mitsuhiro Arita chose not to immediately enter his father's company and instead gave himself time to pursue a career path of his own choosing. While helping with his father's business, he began presenting his artwork and exploring illustration independently. He also became interested in 3DCG at a time when computer-generated imagery was still relatively uncommon among freelance artists. This combination of traditional drawing, digital experimentation and personal connections would eventually lead him toward Creatures and his first major professional illustration project.
